Relax, Renew, and Restore: Virtual Yoga Nidra

Relax, Renew, and Restore: Virtual Yoga Nidra

Join us Tuesday, February 9 at 4:30 p.m. EST for Relax, Renew, and Restore: Virtual Yoga Nidra, a FREE 30-minute Wellness Day offering for all College of the Liberal Arts faculty, staff, and students, led by Jill M. Wood, Teaching Professor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).

Yoga nidra is a centuries-old practice of deep relaxation, during which participants remain physically still to enable the mind to quiet. Benefits of yoga nidra include decreased anxiety, improved sleep, improved mood, and an increased sense of well-being.

Participants are welcome to keep their cameras off uring the session. Plan to find a cozy reclined position for the practice. No experience with yoga or meditation is necessary, and all are welcome to attend!

The session will also be recorded and available for later viewing on the College of the Liberal Arts’ YouTube channel.
