Making Anime in Latin America
Pablo Monreal is a Chilean architect, manga artist, and anime producer. In 2018, he founded WOLU Studio—the first company to publish manga-style comics and to produce animation by all Latin American artists.
In this workshop, he will give us a behind-the-scenes look at the production process for an anime movie or anime show. Monreal will share his experience as a Latin American artist empowering others to look at their own culture to tell stories.
Attendees will have an exclusive first look at studio Wolu’s newest, unreleased animated film Chajnantor.
