This event is organized by the Latin American Graduate Student Association at Penn State.
Berta Rojas is a very accomplished classical guitarist. She has been nominated three times for the Latin Grammy Awards (2012, 2014, and 2015), performed in the most distinguished music halls worldwide (Lincoln Center of NYC, London's South Bank Centre, Kennedy Center in Washington DC), and is considered among the most influential women in the Hispanic World. Berta is currently an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Thanks to the sponsorship of the University Park Allocation Committee (UPAC), our donors, and the support of the Penn State School of Music, Berta will be playing at the recent inaugurated Recital Hall of the Penn State School of Music.
