“Exploring Teacher Agency: The Interior Life and Ghana’s Multilingual Education Policy”
This workshop with Jeanine Staples-Dixon and Phoebe Quaynor examines the complexities of Ghana’s multilingual education policy through the lens of teacher “interiority.” Drawing on Staples-Dixon’s “interior life” frameworks (2023, 2024) and engaging with elementary school teacher reflections, participants will explore how teachers navigate the complexities of multilingual education. The workshop also builds on Quaynor’s research
