What’s the Gig? How You Can Make the Most of the Gig Economy

The world of work as we know it is in the midst of a huge transformation. The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that more than 40% of the U.S. workforce participates in the gig economy, either as full-time freelancers or as a side hustle in addition to traditional employment. The number is only expected to grow, so it’s reasonable to expect that you’ll interact with the gig economy in some way over the course of your career.

This lunch and learn session will provide a practical look at how you can prepare yourself now to thrive in the gig economy after you graduate.
