The School of Labor and Employment Relations will be hosting a virtual open house on Tuesday, September 22, to discuss our integrated undergraduate-graduate programs. We will also talk more about our two-year master of science program.
As you think about your future career, have you considered Human Resources (HR) or Employment Relations (ER)? Did you know that we have a great master's program in HR and ER in the College of the Liberal Arts?
Based in the School of Labor and Employment Relations, the master of science in HRER (https://ler.la.psu.edu/graduate) is a business-related master’s program. There is a projected 7% annual increase in HR job openings through 2026 (source: BLS) with starting salaries of MS grads averaging over $73,000. Our school has excellent job placement rates (100% of domestic students received at least one job offer in recent years). We also offer several integrated undergraduate-graduate programs for students pursuing a BS in LER/LHR, Psychology, and Spanish. This means you can earn your BS and master's degree in just five years instead of six!
If this program sounds interesting to you, speak to your academic advisor and join us to learn more at our VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday, September 22, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. via Zoom. You must register to receive the Zoom invitation to attend this event.
We look forward to seeing you there!
