"“Using Comics and Graphic Novels in the Language Classroom”, a workshop by Lynn Kutch (Assistant Professor of German, Kutztown University)

Next Wednesday will see a special edition of the GSLL speaker series aimed at all interested instructors (and students) in the SGLLC: “Using Comics and Graphic Novels in the Language Classroom,” a workshop by Lynn Kutch (Assistant Professor of German, Kutztown University). Co-sponsored by the School for Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures.

 

Dr. Kutch designed and maintains the website The German Graphic Novel, In this presentation, she will demonstrate how to use comics and graphic novels in language classrooms at all levels. The talk is especially designed to show instructors how they can get started with teaching comics and implement them into instruction.  Instructors in all world languages curious about using comics and graphic novels as teaching material are invited to come see what it’s all about. Those with experience, we hope that you can share your own experiences!
