The Holocaust and History

Students enrolled in HIST/JST 426 The Holocaust and History will have the
opportunity to deepen their understanding of key issues surrounding the
Holocaust through visiting historical sites in Poland over spring break. All
participants will enroll in an additional 1-credit embedded course, JST 197.
The trip will begin in Warsaw and move southeast to Lublin and the
Borderlands area. We plan to visit memorials and exhibitions at the former
Majdanek and Belzec camps, ending up in the beautiful city of Kraków. Along
the way we will visit sites of history and memory and meet with local experts.Program led by Professor Eliyana Adler and Professor Tobias Brinkmann.
