	earing aids are essential assistive devices for individuals with hearing
	 loss\; however\, they present challenges concerning language access. Th
	is presentation examines the relationship between CIs\, hearing aids\, a
	nd language acquisition while emphasizing the significance of American S
	ign Language (ASL). It also investigates disparities in access to CIs an
	d rehabilitation services and incorporates perspectives from the Deaf co
	mmunity regarding cultural identity and communication rights. Ethical co
	nsiderations related to the decision-making process for pediatric CI rec
