Friday, November 1, 2024
noon–1:30 p.m.
134 HUB-Robeson Center
Schwartz Fellow Symposium
Presented by Amelia Dodoo, 2023 Schwartz Fellow

Alumna Amelia Dodoo will share her experience as the 2023 Schwartz Fellow. During her fellowship, she completed a case study in her home country of Ghana studying the differences in perceptions about corruption in Africa and how to combat it. Amelia graduated from the College of the Liberal Arts in 2023 with degrees in African Studies and Psychology.

The Schwartz Fellows Program provides a year’s worth of funding—as much as $45,000—to cover expenses for a graduating student who plans to engage in a yearlong (at least ten months), postbaccalaureate service activity related to social change, the environment, disaster relief, youth development, or other causes.

Lunch is provided at the event, so please RSVP.
