School of Public Policy Speaker Series “Early Life Effects of Exclusionary Discipline: Evidence from North Carolina”

Thursday, February 3, at Noon EST, the School of Public Policy will host the next event in the SPP Speaker Series on Zoom.

Sarah Komisarow, assistant professor of public policy and economics in the Sanford School of Public Policy and a faculty affiliate of the Center for Child & Family Policy, will present "Early Life Effects of Exclusionary Discipline: Evidence from North Carolina." 

Komisarow is an applied microeconomist with research interests in children’s education, health, and well-being.  The central aim of her research is to produce rigorous, causal evidence that informs the development and implementation of policies designed to improve the lives of children, particularly those who are contemporaneously and historically disadvantaged.
