This panel discussion aims to delve into the complex issue of rape culture within the Penn State community, acknowledging the past, and discussing the ongoing efforts to change it. Simultaneously we will create a space for the empowerment of survivors, with the ultimate goal of creating campuses where sexual violence is not tolerated or normalized.
Panelists include:
Adrienne Williams, ’79 Art Education and survivor of attempted sexual assault at Penn State in the 1970s.
Jocelyn Anderson, Ph.D., RN, SANE-A, sexual assault nurse examiner and associate professor of nursing science at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
Barrett Marshall, Esq., civil rights attorney, senior consultant at The Inclusion Firm; former legal director at CentreSafe in State College, Pennsylvania
Jill M. Wood, Ph.D., teaching professor of women’s, gender, and sexuality studies and expert in relationship and sexual violence prevention and education
