Practitioner/ Academia Seminar: Reverse globalization? Critical times for talent management

The Center for International Human Resource Studies (CIHRS) invites you to attend a complimentary seminar dedicated to addressing multinational’s challenges of talent management in the face of increasing pressures on our global model of talent. This will be a unique opportunity to hear from renowned executive practitioners and academic experts in the field of global talent management (see: https://ler.la.psu.edu/cihrs/IHRMconference/industry-event/seminar-speakers).

Political nationalism, Brexit, and GDPR are to name but a few of the defining features of this turbulent context, while the concurrent rise of the gig economy is challenging the way we think about work and employment on a global scale. This dynamic context tasks HR professionals to deliver increasingly innovative solutions to evermore critical talent challenges. What does the future hold and how can HR professionals survive this turbulence…? This session provides a much-needed opportunity to debate and define this future for the success of globally operating firms.

The event is free to attend but registration is required. You can register to attend the seminar here (full details in attachment):
