“Politics in the Age of Anxiety: From Neumann to Now”

The Paterno Fellows Program is proud to present a panel of distinguished faculty for an interdisciplinary discussion on the continued relevance of Franz Neumann's Anxiety and Politics (1957), which argues that rulers exploit anxiety to consolidate power. Philosophers, political scientists, and historians will consider this dynamic in today's world.

Afterwards please join us for a reception in Old Botany Building, RSVP preferred.
