	erience was primarily gained in Georgia\, both in state government and a
	s an executive in the University System of Georgia\, which now includes 
	the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. She focuses on provid
	ing students with a pathway for completing their higher education goals.
	\n\nNickel attributes much of her professional success to her educationa
	l experience at Penn State. She holds a master of public administration 
	degree and a bachelor of science degree in community development from Pe
