Partnership for Public Service Information Session

Join the Partnership for Public Service for an information session about the Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program for Summer 2026 on Wednesday, October 22 from 5:00—6:00 p.m. via Zoom. Register.

The Future Leaders program is an exciting, PAID opportunity for students to gain professional experience in federal and state government. Summer 2026 internships will focus on public interest technology, AI, data science, and public administration. In this session, you will learn about:

  • The history and an overview of the Future Leaders program.
  • Why AI skills are becoming increasingly important in the workplace, especially in government agencies.
  • Examples of past Future Leaders AI internship portfolios.
  • Professional development opportunities through Future Leaders.
  • How to apply on GoGovernment.org and strengthen your application ahead of the December 5th deadline.

This session is intended for undergraduate students from Penn State with at least one major in the College of the Liberal Arts
