DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us for the sixth annual Marathon Read. Every year\, v
olunteers take turns reading over a 24-hour period. This year's theme is
First Books\, which focuses on first books by authors from all around t
he world. Each title will be available in English and the original langu
age in which it was published.\n\nAnyone may volunteer for two to five m
inutes of reading. Groups -- classes\, teams\, social organizations -- a
re encouraged to participate by volunteering for larger blocks of time.
It gets really fun in the wee hours of the morning.\n\nThere will be piz
