Hear from the experts on how to navigate this new virtual recruiting world.

Great advice on preparing for Fall Career Days, virtual interviewing, and how to stay connected even when not in person will be the focus of this event.

Meet our Panelists:

Katie McDonald, POLITICO

Katie graduated from college in 2014 and began working as an educational consulting for a few years before falling into recruiting. She loves recruiting because it allows her to connect with all types of candidates and help them to find amazing opportunities within POLITICO or her network.

Katie currently works for POLITICO but prior to this also recruited in NYC for a tech company and a charter school network. In her spare time, she joys hiking, skiing, and exploring Washington, D.C. 

Alissa Krutoff, City Year

Alissa Krutoff currently serves as a Senior Recruitment Manager in the East Region based in the Philadelphia area.  Alissa joined the Philadelphia recruitment team in 2011.  After 3 1/2 years Alissa moved to Miami to join the South region and returned to the Northeast in August 2017.

Alissa is originally from Cherry Hill, NJ and graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and The History of Art and Architecture, but it was her time outside of the classroom that inspired her to being a career in Higher Education.  Following graduation she worked as a Traveling Educational Consultant for her national sorority Alpha Epsilon Phi.  After successfully leading the colonization process at The University of Central Florida, she was hired back as The Director of New Group Development.  Alissa received her Masters in Higher Education from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ.  

Her favorite part of her job is connecting with students, to let them realize that learning does not stop at graduation!  

Megan Eckart, GEICO

Megan Eckart is a Regional College Recruiter at GEICO. She graduated with her degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Ferrum College. Megan has been with GEICO for 8 years and has help multiple positions within the company, starting in sales and making her way to in Human Resources.

Megan has a passion for helping Liberal Art students find different job opportunities.

Kelly O. Morgan, Lockheed Martin Corporation 

Kelly O. Morgan has been a College Recruiter at Lockheed Martin since June 2019. Kelly was a “2+2” commonwealth transfer student, completing two years at the Altoona Campus before finishing her degree at University Park.

While she was a student, Kelly was a Lion Ambassador, an undergraduate research assistant in the Diversity Recruiting & Retention Lab, and part of the Penn State Student SHRM-SLER. Kelly holds her BS in Psychology (Business Option) with a minor in Labor & Employment Relations and graduated with the Class of 2019.
