Professor James Tierney currently teaches large-lecture classes of introductory and intermediate macroeconomics. He enjoys being part of the entrepreneurial community here in State College as co-owner of Happy Valley Improv and frequent adviser to student-ran startups at the Happy Valley LaunchBox. The foundations of entrepreneurship and improvisation shape professor Tierney’s classroom. He writes weekly on education, economics, and satire.
