The second talk of the Spring Semester in our Speakers Series will be presented on Wednesday, April 17 at 3:00 pm in 502 Keller by Cornell ILR Professor Virginia Doellgast.  The title of Professor Doellgast’s presentation is After the social crisis: The transformation of employment relations at France Télécom.  The research she will discuss contributes to debates on the conditions for asserting worker voice in management decisions within liberalizing, ‘shareholder value’ oriented economies and their organizations. It examines change in employment relations and management policies at France Télécom/Orange (FT) following a social crisis associated with employee suicides in 2007-2009.
