Lecture by Jay Yonamine, a Political Science Alumnus and Head of Data Science at Google

Jay Yonamine, the head of data science for the global patents team at Google, will give a lecture titled, "A History of Artifical Intelligence and Machine Learning."

Prior to Google, he held data science and product management positions at legal, insurance and social media companies, and has consulted in e-commerce and various government agencies including the DoD and NGA. Jay holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Penn State, where he leveraged machine learning and NLP to forecast political instability.
