Join us for the Liberal Arts Harrisburg Career Exploration Day on Wednesday, September 23, 2026!
Undergraduate and graduate students in the College of the Liberal Arts must apply to be considered for this program.
Applications open on Saturday, August 15 and are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 11.
What to expect?
- Bus will depart from Rec Hall (Burrowes Rd, University Park, PA 16802) at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23.
- The day will include a variety of activities and sessions, such as:
- Legislative Panel
- Young Professionals in Government and Public Policy Careers Panel
- Career exploration and networking sessions
- Professional Development Workshop for MPPs with Alumni
- Tour of the State Capitol Building
- Locations include the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry and the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building.
- Transportation, food, and refreshments (light breakfast and lunch) will be provided.
- Bus will depart from Harrisburg at 4:00 p.m. (expected arrival in State College, 6:00 p.m.).

Only complete registrations will be reviewed. You will be notified of application status acceptance or rejection by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, with further instructions and information.
