In the last years, we've seen a proliferation of digital archives, big and small, about famous people but also about minoritized communities, and you are probably using some of their sources for research. In this workshop, we will review the relevant terminologies of a digital archive, have an overview to understand a Dublin Core metadata schema and start with Omeka, a web publishing platform.

The workshop is pertinent for those thinking about creating a digital archive, but also for those who want to learn about how to make better use of existing digital archives.
