Bridging Community Engagement and Public Policy: Insights from Government Relations Work
Policy Profile with Pam Adams, Director of the Centre Regional Planning Agency

Join the School of Public Policy for a Policy Profile with Pam Adams, director of the Centre Regional Planning Agency. Pam will share insights from her extensive career in government relations, community engagement, and public policy advocacy.

Pam will discuss her work in bridging the community and policymakers, her dedication to sustainability through Centre Sustains, and the collaborative nature of regional planning across six Centre Region municipalities. This session offers valuable perspectives for students interested in public policy, planning, and sustainability careers—and often leads to internship and professional opportunities.

Moderated by Elly Miller, an MPP student and Planning and Sustainability Intern at CRPA, this interactive conversation will cover career pathways, effective stakeholder engagement strategies, and practical advice for students pursuing a career in policy work.

Questions welcome throughout! Join in person or via Zoom.
