Imagination Fails Again: Understanding and Responding to Attacks on our Democracy

Join Penn State's McCourtney Institute for Democracy and the College of the Liberal Arts for an evening with Laura Rosenberger, a leader in the effort to protect our democracy from foreign interference.

Laura is a Penn State alumna and senior fellow and director of the bipartisan Alliance for Securing Democracy at The German Marshall Fund (GMF) of the United States. Before joining the GMF, she was foreign policy advisor for Hillary for America, where she coordinated development of the campaign’s national security policies, messaging, and strategy. Prior to that, she served in a range of positions at the State Department and the White House’s National Security Council.

She received her master’s degree in international peace and conflict resolution from American University’s School of International Service, and received her bachelor's degrees with honors from Penn State in sociology, psychology, and women’s studies.
