DESCRIPTION:\nYou are invited to a conversation with Hong Kong novelist 
	Lau Yee-Wa\, who will read from her novel Tongueless. Lau’s short story 
	“The Shark” won the prestigious Hong Kong Champion of the Arts Award for
	 Creative Writing in Chinese in 2016. After working as an editor in a pu
	blishing house for five years\, she transitioned into writing fiction an
	d pursuing a career in education. Her debut novel Tongueless has been hi
	ghly praised by acclaimed Hong Kong authors including Chan Ho-Kei and Do
	rothy Tse. The English version of Tongueless\, translated by Jennifer Fe
	eley\, was published in June 2024 by The Feminist Press.\n\nThis event i
