Jewish Studies faculty and graduate students are leading a full-day trip to the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, February 1. We have room on the bus for 48 students, and we are currently accepting registrations on a first come first serve basis!
The trip will be free for students! We are asking students to pay a $50 deposit to reserve their seat, but that deposit will be returned if they attend the trip. Lunch will be provided on the bus. Students will need to buy their own dinner in D.C.
Students must register and pay their deposit by Monday, January 20, or risk losing their seat on the bus.
We will depart via bus at 7:00 a.m. and return around 11:00 p.m. that evening. Students will have the opportunity to walk through the museum at their own pace, but Jewish Studies faculty and graduate students will be available to answer questions on the bus and in the museum.
Students will also have free time to visit the other museums and memorials in the National Mall and to eat dinner after the visiting the Holocaust Museum.
This event is generously sponsored by the Chaiken Dean’s Fund for Antisemitism Education.
