DESCRIPTION:\nDr. Vineeta Yadav is an associate professor in the Departm
	ent of Political Science at Penn State. Her research and teaching intere
	sts lie in comparative politics\, political economy\, and survey researc
	h. Her research specifically focuses on the comparative study of busines
	s and religious interest groups and their consequences for political out
	comes and policy outcomes in developing countries. She specializes in th
	e politics of South Asia. Her fourth book Religious Parties and the Poli
	tics of Civil Liberties published with Oxford University Press in 2021 w
	on as honorable mention for the Distinguished Book Award from the Societ
	y for the Scientific Study of Religion. She is currently working on stud
	ying the rise and consequences of populist parties in developing country
