The Penn State Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures is sponsoring a celebration of German Christmas songs and music at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3rd, at the State College Presbyterian Church, 132 West Beaver Avenue, State College.

 The public is invited to participate in singing traditional German songs, including "Oh Tannenbaum”; Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht"; "Jingle Bells"; "Leise rieselt der Schnee"; and "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen."  Additional musical entertainment will be provided by faculty and students of the Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures.
