Peace and Justice Lobbying
The Friends Committee on National Legislation is a public-interest lobbying and advocacy organization that works to advance peace, justice, opportunity, and environmental stewardship. Ben Rowles, a College of the Liberal Arts alum, will hold an information session on opportunities with the Friends Committee this coming Tuesday, February 5, at 4:00pm in 133 Sparks. The Friends Committee is recruiting for paid fellowship and internship positions and for its spring lobby training program. Liberal Arts students are invited to attend the information session with Ben to learn more about how they can advocate for peace and social justice.
Drop In Hours
Ben will also be holding drop-in office hours for interested students at the University Fellowships Office (321 Boucke Bldg) Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
