Fisher Family Writer-in-Residence presents Adrian Matejka

Adrian Matejka is the author of five books of poetry, as well as a collaborative mixed media project and a forthcoming graphic novel. His most recent collection of poems, Somebody Else Sold the World (Penguin, 2021), was a finalist for the 2022 Rilke Prize. His third collection of poems, The Big Smoke (Penguin, 2013), was selected as a finalist for several prestigious poetry awards and received the 2014 Anisfield-Wolf Book Award. The recipient of numerous fellowships and honors, Matejka served as Poet Laureate of the state of Indiana in 2018-19 and is Editor of Poetry magazine.
