A presentation by Britt Wray, Director of CIRCLE at Stanford Psychiatry, Stanford School of Medicine
This lecture focuses on the mental health impacts of climate change on young people ('emerging adults') and frontline community members, community-minded psychosocial support interventions, and public engagement for improved mental and planetary health. Wray has recently released a book titled Generation Dread, has written about decisions about having children amidst the climate crises, coping with climate change, and given talks about climate anxiety and grief.
