	nts and recent grads?\n\nJoin us for the Liberal Arts D.C. Trek: Launch 
	Your Federal Career\n\nTuesday\, September 24\, 2024\n\nWashington\, D.C
	.\n\nAttire: Professional - there will not be any opportunities to chang
	e clothing after boarding the bus.\n\nSCHEDULE:\n\nBus Leaves at 9:00 a.
	m. (Location will be announced during pre-event session)\n\nExplore D.C.
	\n\nNoon–2:30 p.m. \n\nStudents will have the opportunity to explore the
	 national mall and eat lunch on their own.\n\nNetworking Prep with Alumn
	i \n\n3:00–5:00 p.m. \n\nStudents will connect with Penn State Liberal A
	rts alumni\, practicing their elevator pitch and learning about working 
	within the federal government as well as for government adjacent employe
	rs. This will be a space to experience networking where you can make mis
	takes before moving on to the real thing! Heavy hors de' oeuvres will be
	 provided.\n\nPartnership for Public Service Career Expo \n\n5:30–8:00 p
	.m. \n\nThe expo will feature representatives from federal agencies who 
	can share internship and job opportunities with attendees\, in addition 
	to resources on finding their next career opportunity. The program will 
	also feature a keynote lecture from a senior U.S. Government official an
	d a panel discussion about the Partnership’s Future Leaders in Public Se
	rvice Internship Program.\n\nReturn to Penn State by 1:00 a.m. on Septem
	ber 25 (traffic dependent).\n\nTransportation via bus to and from Washin
	gton\, D.C.\, is provided by the Liberal Arts Career Enrichment Network.
