Wednesday, March 4 is Equal Pay Day. This represents how far into the year the average woman must work to earn what the average man earned in the previous year. This workshop will empower undergraduate students to understand Equal Pay Day and explore how pay equity shapes career opportunities. Students will leave with practical, confidence-building salary negotiation strategies they can use for internships, first jobs, and future career conversations.
