Kimberly Q. Andrews, a Filipinx-American poet and critic, is author of Between, winner of the New Women’s Voices award, and A Brief History of Fruit, winner of the Akron Prize for poetry. Her scholarly monograph, The Academic Avant Garde was recently published by Johns Hopkins University Press. She received her master of fine arts degree from Penn State and doctoral degree from Yale University. She is currently associate professor of English and coordinator of creative writing at the University of Ottawa, and she also serves as an editor of the literary magazine, Cherry Tree.
