Anna Watkins Fisher is associate professor of American culture at the University of Michigan. She is the author of Safety Orange (University of Minnesota Press 2021) and of The Play in the System: The Art of Parasitical Resistance (Duke University of Press 2020), and the co-editor of New Media / Old Media: A History and Theory Reader (Routledge 2016).
