	presentation will review how the Recipe 4 Success preventive interventio
	n used a community-based participatory approach to design a new home vis
	it curriculum for families with young children living in poverty. It wil
	l summarize the results from two randomized controlled trials testing th
	at curriculum against current evidence-based practices on multiple domai
	ns of functioning\, including parents’ sensitive scaffolding\, responsiv
	e food parenting practices\, toddlers’ self-regulation\, and healthy eat
	ing habits. It then will explore how studies of therapeutic mechanisms w
	ithin Recipe 4 Success shed light on broad principles of design and impl
	ementation that might enhance the effectiveness of other preventive inte
