In this workshop you will be introduced to AntConc, a freeware concordance program for analyzing language in use, with an exploratory corpus. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to observe key words in context, repeated linguistic patterns, and words that appear more often than by chance. We will also spend some time reflecting on how this could be useful to your own research.
Taught by Dr. Heather Froehlich, literary informatics librarian at University Libraries.
