Prominent Ukrainian writer and author of five volumes of poetry, five collections of literary essays, and seven highly acclaimed novels Yuri Andrukhovych will present some recent publications of his writing in English translation, including Ukraine 22: Ukrainian Writers Respond to War (Penguin 2023) and My Final Territory: Selected Essays (University of Toronto Press reprinted 2023). In his talk, he will also preview new translations of his poetry from new and forthcoming publications and discuss Ukraine two years after Russia’s full-scale invasion.
