	 of the Academy\n\nAfter finishing a Ph.D. in Spanish and Language Scien
	ce in 2014\, Amelia J. Dietrich was awarded the Mellon/ACLS Public Fello
	wship to work at non-profit\, membership organization The Forum on Educa
	tion Abroad. As Associate Director for Programs and Resources\, she edit
	s the academic journal Frontiers: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Study
	 Abroad\, develops resources to support high-quality study abroad progra
	mming\, leads data collection and reporting efforts\, and&nbsp\;facilita
	tes professional development workshops. She has presented her post-langu
	age-science work at conferences in Austin\, Houston\, Seattle\, and Wash
	ington\, D.C. and will publish a chapter in the upcoming Routledge Handb
	ook of Study Abroad Research and Practice.&nbsp\;Dr. Dietrich's presenta
	tion will focus on her transition from academia to the non-profit associ
	ation\, highlighting the transferable skills she gained during her years
	 as a CLS graduate student and offering advice to students and faculty m
