Oscar-nominated and Emmy award-winning filmmaker Matthew Heineman debuted his new film, Retrograde, in 2022. This film covers the final nine months of the U.S. War in Afghanistan from the perspective of a team of Green Berets supporting the Afghan National Army. Retrograde offers “an intimate, chilling portrait of the colossal failures, human costs and destructive consequences of the abrupt end to America’s longest war.”
