The Department of Communication Arts and Sciences invites you to join us for the finals of this semester’s Civic Engagement Public Speaking Contest. The final round will feature the top six student speakers from thirty-eight sections of our CAS 100A Effective Speech class. This semester, the contest features three Penn State alumni guest judges:

• Brian Drury ’12 Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, a Smeal College of Business graduate who is a content creator for college graduates

• Una Kimokeo-Goes ’11 Communication Arts and Sciences, a graduate of our doctoral programwho is an assistant professor of communication arts at The College of Idaho

• Jessica Geist ’12 Chemical Engineering, a former contest finalist who is a senior project engineering analyst at The Heritage Group
