Career Diversity Panel and Discussion

The College of the Liberal Arts will host a panel discussion with successful Liberal Arts doctorates in non-academic careers.  Our guests will discuss how they got where they are, why they decided to pursue a non-university position, and what they have learned about differences in jobs and job seeking procedures.  Current graduate students will have the chance to talk with the panelists informally during the breakout sessions immediately following the panel.

Panelists:

Hannah Furnas (Sociology): Research Manager, Facebook

Kathy Gann (Molecular Biology & Biochemistry): Medical Science Liaison Professional, Self-Employed

Ashley Roccamo (German and Language Sciences): Instructional Designer, American University

Spencer Delbridge (History): Student Safety Program Coordinator, Oregon Department of Education
