C-SoDA has not held an in-person event since spring 2020. Since then, many have left and joined our community, and C-SoDA’s leadership and personnel have changed significantly. The purpose of the C-SoDA Kickoff is to gather and (re)acquaint ourselves. The kickoff will be held outdoors (tented). Boxed lunches will be served. The event will feature brief remarks from C-SoDA leadership, as well as a poster session to highlight the amazing research being conducted in our community. Presenters will include: Muhammed Cifci, Xinyu (Ginny) Wang, Cassandra Tai (incoming postdoc), Rachel Peng, Ryan Wang, Yun Liang, Michael Burnham, Isaac Pollert (incoming postdoc), and Chris Julien.
