Bianca Flowers is an award-winning multimedia journalist and U.S. Race and Justice Correspondent at Reuters News, as well as the Global Co-chair of the Black Journalists and Allies Network (BJAN). Based in Chicago, she covers enterprise stories on race, identity, and social justice, exploring the intersections of politics and the economy.

Flowers began her Reuters career as a manufacturing correspondent, reporting on key sectors of the U.S. economy, including global steel, agriculture, construction, and technological advancements in automation. Her reporting has delved into labor unions, including the 2023 United Auto Workers strike, the impact of the Silicon Valley Bank collapse on commercial real estate, and the contentious debate over the U.S. Steel acquisition.

Prior to Reuters, Flowers was a senior video journalist for Dow Jones, focusing on personal finance, income inequality, and diversity in tech, and co-led MarketWatch’s “The Value Gap,” where she interviewed leaders on reducing racial and social disparities. She has also held editorial roles at Fortune, LearnVest, Investopedia, and ABC News.
