Annual German Songs for the Holidays

The Penn State Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures is sponsoring a celebration of German Christmas songs and music at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 2nd at the State College Presbyterian Church, 132 West Beaver Avenue, State College.The public is invited to participate in singing traditional German songs, including "Oh Tannenbaum”; Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht"; "Jingle Bells"; "Leise rieselt der Schnee"; and "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen."Additional musical entertainment will be provided by faculty and students of the Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures.For further information, please contact Professor Thomas Beebee(tob@psu.edu) or 814-865-5481.
