	e. It follows the story of a shuttered General Motors factory in Ohio th
	at is given a second chance when it is purchased and reopened by new Chi
	nese owners.&nbsp\;The story begins with a sometimes humorous cultural c
	lash between transplanted Chinese workers and their American counterpart
	s\, and evolves into a discomforting story of the ways in which global e
	conomic competition threatens labor rights everywhere. It is the first f
	ilm produced by Barack and Michelle Obama&rsquo\;s production company\, 
	Higher Ground Productions.\n\nThe film will be introduced by LER&#39\;s 
	own Dr. Mary Bellman and the Q &amp\; A moderated by Dr. Catherine Bowma
