Are you considering law school or already applying? Join Liberal Arts alumni currently attending Law School to learn more about the applications process as well as the educational experience. 

Various alumni will join us from different years and types of law schools to share their tips, suggestions, and experiences.

Panelist Bios:

Aba Aggrey, '22 (1L Fordham University School of Law)

  • Aba Aggrey is a 1L at Fordham University School of Law. Helping disadvantaged groups and promoting social justice were the driving forces that led Miss Aggrey to law school. Before pursuing her law degree she graduated from Penn State University in 2022 with dual majors in Criminology and Psychology. While at Penn State, some of her roles were Vice President of The Multicultural Undergraduate Law Association (MULA), Psychology teaching assistant, intern with Penn State’s Restorative Justice Initiative, and owner of Abacadabra Lashes where she applied eyelash extensions.

Genevievre Miller, '20 (3L, Northeastern University Law School, Boston, MA)

  • Genevievre is a third-year student at Northeastern University School of Law. Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, Genevievre graduated from Penn State in May 2020. She earned degrees in Political Science and African Studies with minors in African American Studies and Women’s Studies. While at Penn State, she was involved in club cheerleading, NAACP, and UPUA. She served as the only student representative on the State College Borough Council and was awarded the 2020 Stand Up award for her efforts. Genevievre brought her passion for community involvement to Northeastern. At Northeastern, she is a teaching assistant, former president of the Black Law Students Association, moot court participant, and now the Editor-in-Chief of the Northeastern University Law Review. Post-graduation, Genevievre will join a large law firm in New York City as a first-year associate.  

Brittany Miraldi, '18 (3L, Elisabeth Haub School of Law, Pace University | Paralegal at Hope's Door Legal Center NY)

  • Brittany graduated from Penn State in 2018 with degrees in Political Science and Criminology. She is a 3L at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in White Plains, New York. She attends the part-time weekend/night program while working full-time as a Paralegal at a non-profit legal center serving victims of domestic violence. At Penn State, she was involved in organizations such as the Justice Association, Trilogy Thon Org, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Liberal Arts Envoys and currently serves as an Alumni Mentor to Penn State Liberal Arts students. 

Peyton Woodward, '20 (3L, Penn State Law)

  • Peyton is on what her friends call “the 7-year program at Penn State!” She graduated from Penn State in 2020 with a B.S. and with Honors in Economics from the College of Liberal Arts. She then proceeded across Park Ave to the Katz Building where she is currently a 3L at Penn State Law (PSL, not Pumpkin Spice Latte). At PSL, Peyton is a member of the Arbitration Law Review, Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, and PSL Benefitting THON. She also works in PSL’s admissions office, externs in the Athletic Compliance Office in the BJC, is a TA for a National Security Simulation course, and is a student rep for the Lexis+ legal research database. During Summer 2021, Peyton interned with the Honorable Suzanne Adams of the New York City Civil Court. This past summer, Peyton interned at a law firm outside Philadelphia working on Mass Litigation and Class Actions. WE ARE…PENN STATE!
