	rian creative industry\, Chief Francis Duru remains a household name in 
	the Nigerian creative industry ecosystem.\n\nAs a pioneer Nollywood prac
	titioner who rose to limelight and has stayed on the lips and hearts of 
	his fans which stretches from national\, continental climes to global\, 
	his movie Rattlesnake has endeared him to many\, cutting across generati
	ons. He is nothing less than 100 movies titles to his credit as an actor
	.\n\nChief Francis Duru is not only skilled in film alone but remains a 
	committed thespian per excellence. He is a theatre arts graduate who als
	o holds a certificate in acting and a master's degree in development com
	munication from Nasarawa State University. The University of Port Harcou
	rt\, Rivers State remains the birthplace of creative travails with a Ph.
	D. in view. He remains a theatre scholar and a development communication
	 scholar using the arts\, media\, film blended with his vast experience 
	of three decades plus as a new tool for mass mobilization.\n\nChief Duru
	 has had his experiences cut across the entire creative industry chain a
	s a producer\, director\, writer\, and singer\; and in theatre\, as an e
	vent manager\, stage manager\, event Mc anchorage and consultant in vari
	ous spheres that need a blend of art\, media\, music\, and film.\n\nHe h
	as held leadership positions as a former chairman of Actors Guild Abuja 
	chapter\, former coordinator of the Directors Guild of Nigeria\, a fello
	w of the Directors Guild of Nigeria\, and will soon be made a fellow of 
	the Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners. He is a member of the advisory 
	council of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitione
	rs (NANTAP) and a member of Directors Guild of Nigeria Policy Advisory C
	ouncil\, and he will soon be made president of the Federation of African
	 Actors. He is also a member of the Institute of Strategic and Developme
	nt Communication (ISDEVCOM). He is a member of so many boards of trustee
	s and undertakes various pedagogical activities through his master class
	es.\n\nChief Duru remains a firm believer of Afrocentric values\, and at
	 every point in time a believer of the notion that Africa can actually t
	ake care of her own. He has so many awards and has worked with so many h
	umanitarian bodies and has helped so many charities and is still helping
