Mkhize's talk, “Improving adolescent sexual and reproductive health outcomes through the integration of community health workers into youth-friendly services in Sub-Saharan Africa,” looks at how the current health system structure in SSA and the barriers it has to adolescents seeking SRH services. One of the biggest interventions we had was the involvement of community health workers during the dire times of tuberculosis, HIV, and AIDS health promotion, as well as their involvement in helping families navigate childhood illnesses.
